ABOUT US
Ray of Light: Speech Pathology Clinic
Specializing in Children Ages 0-7
I believe that every child deserves the best opportunities to develop their language and social skills. My Speech Pathology services provide families with a safe space for learning and growth. Working closely with parents to empower them with the knowledge and skills to support their child's development.
Ray of Light was founded by Talia Dar, a certified practising Speech Pathologist.
I have worked with children in a range of settings such as private practice, community health centre, school for children with Autism and as an NDIS Early Childhood Coordinator.
I decided to open Ray of Light as I believe in the power that parents have to make an impact in their child's development. My philosophy is guided by the concept that parents are an expert on their child, and I want to support you to feel more confident in your skills.

OUR APPROACH
Empowering Families, Enriching Lives
Ray of Light believes in a holistic approach to speech therapy. Focusing on empowering families with the knowledge and tools to support their child's development. My goal is to enrich the lives of children and families by helping them communicate effectively and confidently.

My therapeutic approach is rooted in the principles of respect, genuine warmth, empathy, and openness. I believe these qualities are essential for creating a safe and effective therapeutic environment.

The NDIS can be tricky to navigate and that there are long waitlists for face to face therapy which means that you and your child are losing precious time. I hope that by offering telehealth programs that we can give you the skills to provide a nourishing environment for your child and get them up to speed with their milestones!
